The Tradedollar Creek Bridge Project required AEC to install a 50 foot modular steel bridge and construct 3,800 ft of mainline road. Upon mobilizing to site, AEC cleared the land and performed mass excavation to remove the existing timber bridge which had blocked the stream for some time. Delicate stream protection measures, including stream armoring, were required to ensure the stream could be diverted then realigned after bridge installation. After placing gravel and constructing the steel bin-wall abutments, the bridge deck, which was made of was made of specialized aluminum material, was installed using an excavator. AEC also performed approach road construction and final grading to complete the project.
